I don’t want to cause a major stampede or anything but…I’ve just discounted a really nice teepee I forgot I had! If you are an avid Moozle follower you will know that it’s very rare to see a Moozle teepee tent in a sale. This is because our overheads and make prices remain pretty constant (exchange rates however do NOT and are driving us crazy right now!), we manufacture on a small scale here in Amsterdam, with a great team, quality materials and a true heart (we don’t use unethical labour, we don’t import from China, we don’t pollute, waste or avoid our taxes!!).
The other BIG reason we don’t discount our products is because that would be unfair to all of our lovely customers who have bought from us in the past, we value your choice, your investment and your style!
So, now you know.
Originally €205 and NOW €160 !! (this is a one-off design, one-of-a-kind, only one ever made with this appliqué)
If you want to grab it whilst you can head on over to my Etsy shop here.
Toadstool cushions can be found by Moozle here. TIP: Order WITH any Moozle teepee and combine the shipping = two (or more) items can be sent for one shipping fee *yay! This includes teepees too…if you and a friend order 2 tents to the SAME address I can combine the shipping for you.
Black and white patchwork cushion by SCENERYLABEL available here.
Do you know about Da Wanda? It is a German founded selling site for all things handmade and is HUGE, mainly in Germany but it’s gaining a big following right accross Europe and as you probably know the German e-commerce market place alone is massive so it’s a great place for Moozle to be.
I recently teamed up with Nina @ Pinspiration, the Pinterest guru to design a teepee for a baby to big-boy room makeover that was featured on the Da Wanda blog.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nina before on her son’s room make-over, you can see the finished result of our first collaboration previously on the blog here.
Our recent project can be viewed on Youtube here. This video is in German but you do get a good sense of what the teepee is like in ‘person’ so to speak. This is the MIDI size in case you are trying to work out which size is best for the space you have, we also supply a smaller, toddler teepee, our Reg size which is great for small spaces. There is a handy size guide chart on our website here.
The Pinspiration blog feature with lots more photos of the room can be found here.
You can order this custom Moozle Teepee design over on our Da Wanda shop here.
Hello hello! We are back from our trip to beautiful Pembrokeshire…I’ve managed to select a few pics from the 634 I took (really, in 10 days, so not too many…for me), I’m a bit impatient and haven’t done any photo editing yet, if only I had the time. I’m back to preparing, packing and shipping orders so not much time for anything else this week until I catch up a bit.
If you are planning a trip to Pembrokeshire these images were taken at (in order from the top) pics 1 & 2 Freshwater East beach, pic 3, my mums garden (you can’t visit that one sorry), pic 4, Tenby Castle beach, pic 5, Llanstadwell top field, pic 6, Carew from the mill bridge, pic 7 Freshwater East beach.
I’ll just let the photos do the talking I think. It’s July. There are flowers.
Why not use some to decorate your Moozle teepee tent and take some pretty pics with your kiddos whilst your at it? Mine were actually outside playing on the swing whilst I took these but maybe you’ll have more luck!
Tag your photos on Instagram with @katemoozle for a chance to get yours featured.
To make the garland I just pinned the flowers we picked to a strip of fabric and tied it around the teepee, it doesn’t have to be any more permanent than that as the fresh flowers wont last long anyway.
The teepee tent in these photos is the Moozle MIDI size.
This new member of the Moozle family is not just a sweet little play thing or pretty shelf accessory (and who doesn’t love to look at cute things on shelves?) but is also a truly resourceful fellow by cleverly using up the left over fabric scraps made by the Moozle BIG teepee tent. Excellent.
I asked the Moozle kids Dolly (age 9) and Dexie (age 5) to think of how they themselves would play with the new Tiny Teepee, here’s what they thought…
I have a lot of decorative props that I’ve collected to use for birthdays, my kids room decor and seasonal home decorating, I gathered things together for each ‘theme’ so it really did only take minutes to decorate the teepe for each photo.
If you are giving a Moozle teepee as a gift it is a really nice idea to set it up and decorate it ready for the child to receive it, the reaction will be pure wonderment, remember to have the camera ready to capture the magic.

Happy ninth birthday to our lovely Dolly! She asked for a new Monster High doll (Jane Boolittle FYI) and to take 2 friends for sushi as her birthday treat, such a mix of sophistication and child 🙂
Of course I couldn’t resist the urge to ‘style’ up her birthday table even though it was for no actual ‘party’ but hey…I get my kicks in strange ways. Nine years ago to today I became a mama when this sweet, funny, timid little girl came into the world and changed our lives. I will forever be yours my baby girl.
School traktatie (the treats you take into school for your class mates here in Holland) had a kawaii theme this year, I painted the marshmallows with black food paint and a felt food pen for the cheeks, cut the watermelon with star cookie cutters and made chocolate coated breadsticks with sprinkles for homemade Poki sticks! Drying them without messing up the chocolate was fun (not). I will not be painting marshmallows again. And that edible ink stains the kids lips!!!
Hello and thanks for visiting 🙂 It’s cherry blossom time here in Amsterdam, I’ve been wanting to make blossom crowns for weeks, waited patiently for the trees at the back of our house to bloom…then had a week of rain and hail showers just when the flowers were peaking, very disappointing, but yesterday the sun shone long enough to dry out the petals, a good job too as they have faded somewhat and are starting to be blown off the branches. I like to think of these pictures as my lasting memories and celebration of their beauty, not to mention the youth and innocence of my children (one of whom may not appreciate the pink flowers in his hair in years to come), but for now they just revel in the ‘blossom party’ as they call it.
I guess I was inspired by mother natures blossoms and just had to make my own (inferior) paper flower garland this afternoon, I used some pre-cut craft flowers and traced around some onto paint colour swatches from the DIY shop to create the pastel coloured ones, I drew the leaves and leaf sprigs freehand and used paper butterfly studs in the centers. I then draped a piece of cotton canvas around the top of the teepee and cut it into a semi-circle curve to glue-gun my paper flowers to, I trimmed back the excess canvas when I had finished arranging and glueing.
I think I might try a version with bigger flowers next…in felt so they are less temporary.
This teepee is the MIDI size plain cotton kids teepee tent available on the website here.

They have over 30K followers on Instagram so maybe you are one of them, well they just reviewed our new MIDI size Pure White teepee, you can read all about (it’s in Dutch so get google translate ready!) who loves it the most here (is it the boy or the cat do you think?).

We are so happy to see the blossom and have lots of exciting projects on the go…including a BIG plan for the little dolls house in these photos. It’s part way through it’s make-over then it’s getting some very special items made to go inside it, more of this to come soon.
The teepee in the photographs is a new design with limited edition Laura Ashley Home fabric, only 4 of these have been made in the MIDI size so if it ticks your boxes you’d better grab one quickly here before they are gone forever!
The April in blossom photo is part of an on-going challenge I’ve given myself (lets see if I can last the year), you can see the other photos so far over on my instagram account.

Hello, thanks for stopping by. If you know Moozle at all you’ve probably noticed that we don’t wholesale our teepee tents… we even turned down a fabulous department store in London (twice!!!), WHAT that’s crazy right?! Well, yes, BUT, our teepee tents are made in small batches, right here in Amsterdam, using local resources and keeping as sustainable as possible (we don’t manufacture in China or use fabric and wood that isn’t good quality or sustainable) so our prices are not very compatible for certain retailers with high mark-ups.
But, we have managed to find a solution and are working with a lovely new concept store in Antwerp called YAY. We can only wholesale certain designs at the moment and are working on new products and variations to bring the Moozle teepee brand to more select stores without compromising our ethics so please get in touch via the website if you’d like to find out more.
Meanwhile check out these lovely pics of our gorgeous new re-seller taken by Unicorns&Rainbows.
