Here’s a sneaky preview of a bespoke design I have just finished  – it looks so nice in real life as there are more textures in it than in my usual designs, silky satin, a silver lurex jacquard and a lovely soft plush velvet mixed in with my usual cottons and felt – super luxe!

What a lovely photo! This beaut has been sent by Jessica at Littlebabygarvin blog, the photo is one from baby Harper’s 1st birthday photo shoot, there are more over on her blog, which is definitely worth checking out as her way with words really makes me smile so much and her photos are super cute.

I can’t get over Jessica’s back yard (yes, this photo is really taken in her back yard!) that tree filled backdrop is so lovely, Harper is going to have a ball making dens and playing hide and seek when she’s older.

We finally got a fallen branch from our local park to adorn with our Easter decs, the kids love doing things like this, little Dex and Doll-face were up on the table like a shot putting everything onto one branch, you just gotta go with it!

It does look really nice (now) and all Spring like, and pastel fresh… so whenever you’re ready sunshine, come on out now, don’t be shy!

The pretty eggs are from Hema, and doesn’t Meg (the lovely Donna Wilson plate on the wall) look sweet peeping out from between the branches?

These are small photos I know… but it’s all I can find of the results of interior designer Jennifer Bishop‘s ‘Tiny Totem‘ kids room design featuring a plain Moozle teepee. Jennifer has had flags made to co-ordinate with her design, nice touch!

My dear friend Anna has sent me this photo of her daughter Poppy in the custom made  teepee I recently finished for them. AnnaK is a very talented freelance graphic designer and art director based in Melbourne, you can see some for her work here, she recently worked on the Moozle id for me and now I have fab new postcards, stickers and cards to send with my deliveries, happy days!

Last week was half term here in Amsterdam and the weather was f-f-f-freezing so we headed to the cosy central library to check out the wonderful ‘Muizen Huis’ (Mouse House) we have heard so much about. It really is fabulous with over 100 little rooms and so much attention to detail, I could look at it for hours!

The house was created by a Dutch lady called Karina Schaapman, who has lived a very interesting life so far, you’ll have to look up the details! She made the house, created stories and took photographs of the house to illustrate them. The stories follow the adventures of 2 small mice called Sam and Julia. The book has become a big hit, been translated many times and distributed all around the world, it will be available to buy in the UK from July 2013.

Karina has now donated her Muizen Huis to the Centrale Bibliotheek in Amsterdam, the brilliant new library near central station (lunch on the top floor at La Place with the stunning views over the city is not to be missed), now everyone can enjoy her wonderful creation, and I for one would like to say thank you!

A little peak at a new teepee design just finished and sent this week, it is for twins in New Jersey – I really hope they love it, I was really pleased with the way it turned out, the colours are so bright and happy.

The eagle eyed amongst you will no doubt have spotted that this is indeedy a Moozle teepee tent in the fab new Mini Boden catalog! They ordered it back in August so I have been eagerly awaiting the results – I do like the stylists addition of the pretty paper butterflies, another creative way to decorate your plain teepee – if you have any other styling gems you’d like to share please send your jpegs to me via the Moozlehome website.

There are lots of gorgeous clothes and shoes in the new Mini Boden catalogue, you can see some here in a post I made of a photo shoot with the kids. I’ve already ordered some more bits for the kids I couldn’t resist, just check out these great silver brouges, sure to sell out fast, just wish they were in my size.

I’ve just listed this kids teepee tent design over on my Etsy page, the sun was out this morning so I put the tent up in the living room and these two crazies promptly moved in!

This tent is all ready to ship – snap it up while you can (I did manage to get them out of it eventually). It is the popular ‘vintage flowers’ design, with a lovely brown tree on the side with lots of pretty lilac and green leaves. The vintage roses fabric is original 1940′s and really rather special.

This photo is of the Aurora village in Yellowknife, Canada, I would love to go and visit one day and dance under the stars and the northern lights.

I just found this (tiny) photo of Dolly’s old bedroom in Pembrokeshire, this is the very first teepee I made and where all this teepee madness stems from! She looks so little here, a cute little thing in beanie and wellie boots. There are lots more photos of past teepee designs on the Moozle Flickr pages. This design went on to be called ‘vintage flowers’ and has been featured in lots of kids design and interiors blogs.
