A Moozle Xmas

My dear lovelies, it seems you wanted a little glimpse into a Moozle Xmas… well, a little late but here’s a peak, the tree is adorned with some home made goodies along with some gifted and found treasures collected over the years, notably a knitted Xmas pud from Jayne in Pembrokeshire, Japanese star and glitter birdies from Mech in London, funny pom pom from Janet in Paris, crochet bambi from Nadine, then in London now in bonny Scotand, – thanks girls, what lovely friends I have! You really can’t beat a knitted pink flamingo on your Xmas tree I always say. Ho ho ho.

Lovely little Maisie in her Moozle teepee in Australia – thanks Shelly for sending this in for us all to see. Maisie looks very happy in her new hide-away. And thanks too for the great comments you emailed to me…

Maisie just loved her 2nd birthday present! The whole family chipped in and it was much better than getting a whole lot of plastic junk. She loves reading, hiding, playing with her friends in there – basically anything to avoid going to bed! Here’s a few photos – feel free to choose one for your blog if you like. Thanks again, Shelly, Australia.

THAT tree

I am often asked about the gorgeous tree in this photo above with the Moozle plain teepee.

The tree is by Australian company Cocoon Couture, they don’t seem to sell it any more (and never shipped it outside Australia when they did, it was also about $300 Australian dollars), but they do have some other cool stuff including this mini-me tree shelf stand version.

Customer photo…

What a lovely happy photo! Elle looks so pleased with her custom made Moozle teepee, thank you Jessica for sending this to me and allowing me to share it on the blog here, and you really do deserve to feel like a ‘Super Aunt’, this is what childhood memories should look like.

This design was ordered via Moozlehome and is vintage flowers in orange, with a name, you can order one similar with this link, just state the name you require and the flower colour of your choice in the customer comments section of the order form.

Bring me sunshine

Here’s a bright and sunny tent I’ve just finished to cheer up a rather wet day here in Amsterdam. Bright sunshine this morning soon turned back to heavy heavy rain… AGAIN! but we were thankful for the sunny start and not just so my photos look better. This play teepee tent is on it’s way to Indianapolis now. I hope you like it Elle. To order a teepee similar to this have a look at Moozle for EU orders and at Etsy for international orders. More photos on Flickr.

Don’t look now…

Ok, so I am pretty sure the bunting bug I caught last week is finally on it’s way out, I just couldn’t resist making this rather Dutch version for my friend’s new baby, I’m quite excited about giving it to her over coffee tomorrow morning. I can’t decide whether to list bunting on my Moozle and Etsy sites or not, maybe I’ll just make some special buntings to go with special teepee tents – you’d better email and hassle me if you want some!

The cat print is by Ingela P Arrhenius and the rabbit with the mustache is by Andrew Bannecker you can see these plus some other illustrative delights over on my Pinterest illustration board, there are some real gems on there so go and check it out.

Rainy Sunday

Rainy day in Amsterdam = happy campers :) The kids play in their teepee tent, we don’t have much space so it just gets picked up at the end of the day and put in the cupboard, still tied at the top! This is one of the first teepees I made and it is still going strong, more designs like this to be added to the shop soon.

Cynthia’s house

Huge thanks today to the lovely Cynthia for allowing me (and my assistant/model Dexter) to take up a chunk of her day and use her stylish home as the location to shoot not one but two tents! Cynthia is a super slick interiors designer and renovation manager specialising in bathrooms and kitchens, it’s a shame I didn’t photograph the tents in her beautiful bathroom, but the bedrooms were pretty lovely too!

Toadstool-tastic

This new teepee tent design is up on the site now and I like how the photos came out (on such a dull rainy Amsterdam day too) and Nora’s cute room was the perfect location, thanks Nora!  All those super props to use, and so in theme. You can see the rest of the photos here Flickr.

Order your tent here Moozle.

Poppy’s room

Lots of fun was had this afternoon snapping the new Animal teepee and a plain one in lovely Poppy’s pretty room. It was a challenge to get some shots of the tents without one or 3 of the four kids in or around the tents but I think the results are pretty good! To see the ‘other’ photos complete with kids playing madly go to the Flickr page (spot the pic of moody Dolly and Poppy fed-up with being told they can play in the tent in “a minute”!). Listed on the Moozlehome Etsy page and for sale on moozlehome – go get yours! The gorgeous wooden enchanted tree is from Cocoon Couture in Melbourne – I WANT one… joy ohjoy it’s on sale (but still $250 Aussie dollars!) but, alas, they don’t ship outside Australia *sob*
